I knew that I had an uneven gait but I’m so used to it and it didn’t affect much when I was younger, even through birthing two kiddos. ⁣Chiropractors would adjust me but I’d always go right back out of place. Together, we will create a treatment plan which will include a combination of the modalities listed below when appropriate. If you'd like to explore another modality as a separate treatment, we welcome you to book the individual service, and you will be required to pay out of pocket (insurance is only for pelvic floor therapy). 

Pelvic  Floor Therapy

Pelvic floor dysfunction is common in millions of people, regardless of gender, and often goes untreated. These muscles require attention just as any other muscle in the body would if it were injured or impacted by chronic overuse or stress. Often, what is actually needed for the structures' full range of motion and functionality is the release and relaxation of these muscles, which can be treated and taught in therapy sessions. As rehab specialists, we can offer you the time and attention needed to physically address these imbalances with compassionate care and listening. 

These muscles and structures provide the following very important functions: 1) protection of the organs 2) control of urine and bowel

3) intimacy. Pelvic floor dysfunction may manifest as pelvic pain, low back pain, abdominal conditions, bladder and bowel issues, pelvic prolapse, and chronic or neural pain. In these sessions, you can expect to receive treatment in the form of manual techniques and treatments such as: biofeedback, myofascial release, and physical manipulation (internal and external), Mayan Abdominal Massage, as well as the therapist's intuitive abilities to interpret your individual tissues and presentation and provide a specialized home program with prescribed exercises to perform on your own.

Yoga Therapy Session

It is imperative that we make time for the nervous system to release and process this natural, physiological response to stress. The average person in today's busy society has stored "trauma" or "traumas" in their physical or emotional body. The center of our body, our pelvic floor is intelligently shaped like a bowl, intricately layered with muscles and connective tissue in order to efficiently provide buoyancy, manage impact and stress, and effectively protect our organs. These muscles can be affected by major traumas such as childbirth or back injury, but are also made tense by "daily traumas." Daily traumas are the overuse and imbalances in a person's daily habits and routines, as well as emotional traumas such as a painful breakup, experiencing a loss, even critical parents in childhood. Emotional or psychological trauma may impact and limit a person's life beyond the necessary time to process that stress. 


This session includes a combination of yoga therapy, myofascial release, and TRE (traumatic response exercises) to communicate to the nervous system. I guide my clients through visualization, breathwork, and neuro-linguistic programming for a nervous system reset to support you. These sessions will provide you with the tools you need to continue therapy on your own. They are wonderful in combination with pelvic floor therapy or coaching sessions, and also serve as a reset on their own.

Abdominal Massage

This session is a combination of Mayan Abdominal Massage, visceral manipulation techniques, and myofascial techniques for optimizing your digestive system, reproductive system, and to release anything that is inhibiting flow in your organ system. 

Conditions that Abdominal Massage is helpful for:

  • Chronic constipation

  • Painful menstruation

  • Painful sex

  • Muscle spasms

  • Back pain

  • Releasing stuck emotions

  • Encouraging relaxation

  • Poor digestion

  • Fatigue 

  • Gas or bloating

  • IBS or SIBO

*Note: You cannot receive abdominal massage if you currently have an IUD in place.
